A small group of powerful people should not get to decide the future for everyone else. We believe humans should remain in control of the technologies shaping our lives, including advanced AI. People deserve a voice in what gets built, who benefits, and what limits we set.

Today
Preserve what matters.
This is the service that exists now: a kit for your DNA, a vault for your stories, and a written record of what you agreed to.
- 01The DNA kit. Collect hair or nail clippings at home and post them in the prepaid mailer.
- 02The storage partner. Your sample is received and stored by GenVault LLC, an independent biorepository in New Jersey. MySpawn runs no laboratory.
- 03The memories vault. Keep photos, videos, voice notes and letters in your account, and choose when each one unlocks.
- 04Ownership. The sample stays yours. MySpawn and GenVault are custodians, and you can ask for it to be destroyed at any time.
- 05Consent. Before you order, you answer a written consent question by question. Your DNA is never used for anything you have not explicitly authorised.
Founding offer: $99 for the kit and the first year of storage. Storage then continues at $99 a year, or $199 for three years at once. Cancel before any renewal. GenVault is ISO 9001 certified, ISO 20387 and CAP accredited, and FDA registered; those accreditations are GenVault's, not MySpawn's.

Looking ahead
Explore what could become possible.
We are interested in emerging reproductive technologies that might one day give people who want descendants more ways to have them. One is in vitro gametogenesis, or IVG: making eggs or sperm in a laboratory from ordinary cells such as skin or blood.
It has produced healthy mice. It has not produced a human egg or sperm that could be used for reproduction, and no one can say when or whether it will. This is an area we want to explore in the open. It is not research we conduct, and it is not a service we provide.
Read the science- 01Scientific. Can it be made to work in people, safely and reliably? Could preserved DNA ever be used this way? Nobody knows yet.
- 02Ethical. Who consents, who decides, and where should the limits be? Those are questions for the public, not for a few companies.
- 03Practical. What would the law allow, what would it cost, and who would have access?

The three things people ask.
Where is my sample kept?
With GenVault LLC, an independent biorepository in New Jersey. GenVault is ISO 9001 certified, ISO 20387 and CAP accredited, and FDA registered. MySpawn runs no laboratory and never handles your sample.
Can my family have a say when I'm gone?
You can name the people who should. They can act only within the consents you recorded while you were alive, and nothing is released beyond them.
Will my sample ever be used to create a child?
It may never be. MySpawn does not create children or provide reproductive services, and preserving DNA does not guarantee that a sample will ever be usable for reproduction. What you have either way is your sample kept in your name, and a vault of your photos, voice and stories for the people you choose.
